The name Mathusalem (Methuselah in English) refers to a legendary man from the Old Testament who had the longest lifespan of anyone in the Bible, and it is also a special name for 6L bottles of wine, etc. We created this Louis XIII: The Mathusalem, which requires 100 years to make, as the perfect edition of Louis XIII.

Using the unique design of Louis XIII unchanged, this is a handmade crystal decanter from international crystal brand Baccarat. This decanter features Baccarat technology passed down across generations, and each decanter is produced individually through the efforts of over 20 expert artisans.

Also, in following with cellar masters’ traditional tasting and serving methods, a pipette (or “spear”) is included for extracting the cognac from the decanter, and the decanter is kept with eight crystal glasses and a service tray inside a splendid display chest. Produced only in limited numbers, like all Louis XIII decanters, this decanter is completely one-of-a-kind with its own unique serial number.
